The Irish Association for Game Hunting and Conservation was established in 2011, and is run on a not-for-profit basis by experienced volunteers.

There are no full-time nor part-time paid officials employed by our organisation - members’ subscriptions and donations are used entirely to further our objectives - which are:

to promote and represent the sport of game hunting.

to represent members locally and nationally.

to foster good relations with farmers and landowners.

to promote the conservation of game and the preservation of habitat.

to promote the highest standards of safety and behaviour in the hunting field.

to encourage the participation of youth in the sport of game hunting.

to educate members in the theory and safe practice of game hunting.

to foster solidarity with other hunting organisations.
